a true worshiper

to worship and to be a true worshiper are quite two different things. to worship is just like, failure to accept much of his (God) revelation and just to know a little about him (God). there are some who worship, without even knowing what they are worshiping, and if a person does not know what he/she is worshiping, such person is good as not worshiping at all, becuase you won’t be able to relate well with the person been worshiped who is God. so in other for you to be a true worshiper, you must be able to worship both in spirit and in truth because, these are the type of worshiper God is looking for, “yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the father seeks, God is spirit, and his worshiper must worship him in spirit and also in truth” jn 4:23. if you can worship God in spirit and in truth, then you are a true worshiper, because these are just the type of worshiper God seeks. most of those who call themselves worshipers are just worshiping for worship sake, because the characters of a true worshiper cannot be found in them.
characters of a true worshiper
1. must be able to worship in spirit: God is spirit and his worshipers must be able to worship him in spirit as said above. thou we also have body, but our body is the temple of the holy spirit. “do you not know that your body is a temple for the holy spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? you are not your own 1 cor 6:9. your body is therefore sacred and is to be treated as sacred (holy). so in other for you to be able to communicate well with God, you have to keep away from worldly things.
Note: watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. the spirit is willing, but the body is weak matt 26:41. in case of threatening circumstances, you will be tempted to be unfaithful, but if your spirit is under God’s control, it will simply strive against human weakness, your prayer should be like david which goes does: ” create in me a pure heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me, o not cast me from your presence or take your holy spirit from me, restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me. “those who are led by the spirit of God are sons of God” rom 8″14 people become children of God through faith in God’s unique son, and being led by God’s spirit is the hallmark of this relationship
2. must be able to worship in truth: God is truthful, and also in him you cannot find any lie, you also, must be truthful, in other to be a true worshiper. this truth also can lead to salvation. “then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free” jn 8:32. the truth will also set you free from sin, it will also lead you to salvation.
Note what Jesus said before he was crucified;everyone on the side of truth listens to me “jn 18:37b”. since Jesus is the way, the truth and life jn 14:6a, you must accept him to your life, so that you also can be truthful.

  1. Who ever fails to honor the Son is not honoring the Father who sent Him. This is the difference between the two resurrections. The first resurrection is for those that God considers righteous because they have done good in His sight. In the light of John 6:28-29 and Ephesians 2:8-10 , this means they have trusted in Jesus’ execution as atonement for their sin, been immersed into His death, risen to eternal life (Romans 6:3-11, 23) and been granted a share in the ‘first resurrection’ (Rev 20:4-6. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection.

The other, the second resurrection is for those who have not trusted in Jesus; they are subject to the ‘second death’ (Rev 20:12-15). This is when those who are still dead, (those who were not raised to ever lasting life) are raised and judged every man according to their works. This is when the dead that are in the sea and death and hell are raised up

Ac 24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

When we stand before the seat of judgment, we will be judged according to our innermost parts, did we do well and keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Everyone will receive the consequences of what he did while he was in the body, believing and not believeing are essential.

This is why we must learn to worship Him in Spirit and in truth. It is our Spirit that is raised up. He will awaken and make alive the dead bodies that are in the graves to keep His word that those who are dead in Christ will rise first.

1 Thes 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Jesus Himself will give the command. “Archangel thunder! God’s trumpet blast!”

Jesus will come down from heaven and once we are all joined unto Him, there will be one huge family reunion with Jesus our LORD. Paul told them to reassure each other with this truth.

What a Feast of Trumpets that will be huh? Going way back to the word seio, pronounced si’-o, the word trump, apparently a primary verb; to rock (vibrate, properly, sideways or to and fro), i.e. (generally) to agitate (in any direction; cause to tremble); figuratively, to throw into a tremor (of fear or concern):–move, quake, shake to come to this word used here is salpigx, pronounced sal’-pinx : (through the idea of quavering or reverberation); a trumpet:–trump(-et).

The shout will come from the voice of the archangel. The trump of God will be sounded as well. WOW!
